## Choosing infrastructure has become an uncomfortable decision

### On-premises equipment

forces you to refresh hardware every few years and maintain server rooms, power, and cooling.

### Shared clouds

bill for items missing from the initial budget, and extracting data is the most expensive part.

### Virtualization licensing

changes have left many teams recalculating if their current setup is still profitable.

##
The Aire Alternative:[cite: 2]
A dedicated infrastructure you can actually budget for[cite: 2]

We provide nodes with resources reserved strictly for you, and you decide which virtualization to deploy on top[cite: 2]. No overbooking, no sharing, and a bill that remains identical every month[cite: 2].

**Exclusively reserved resources[cite: 2]**
Processor, memory, storage, and networking solely for your project[cite: 2].

**No vendor lock-in[cite: 2]**
Proxmox or VMware, the choice is yours (open standards)[cite: 2].

**Fixed monthly cost[cite: 2]**
You know what you will pay, and it does not fluctuate with traffic[cite: 2].

## Moving from VMware to Proxmox, fully supported and risk-free

Since VMware’s licensing changes, many teams are exploring alternatives for the first time in years. Proxmox is the best fit for our infrastructure, primarily because licensing costs drop significantly, and you do not need to dive in blindly.

- We evaluate your current environment and tell you what fits and what doesn’t before moving anything.
- Pilot testing on live infrastructure, so you see it running before deciding.
- Centralized storage in active-active synchronous mode, with zero data-loss window.
- If you prefer to stay on VMware, we can also deploy it, billed under separate licensing.

## What lies beneath your infrastructure

![General purpose](https://airetech.es/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Aire_icono-seguridad-antifraude.svg)

## Verifiable reliability

Every infrastructure component is duplicated: power, cooling, network electronics, node access, storage, and the nodes themselves. Redundancy is not a catalog option; it comes standard.

## Support that actually answers the phone

24/7/365, in Spanish, speaking with someone who understands your infrastructure. No bouncing ticket systems and no Tier 1 support asking you to reboot before escalating.

## An unmoving bill

Reserved resources with a fixed monthly price. No data egress fees, no charges for moving information between zones, and no end-of-month surprises.

## High availability across data centers

Replication between our two Madrid regions, connected by our proprietary fiber ring with sub-millisecond latency, and synchronous storage for workloads that cannot afford downtime

## Free standby nodes

We keep a pool of spare nodes at your disposal free of charge, so you can fully utilize your resources without sacrificing high availability.

## Technical transparency

We tell you exactly what hardware your applications run on and where your environment is physically located. No black boxes.

## Use cases

Dedicated infrastructure pays off when workloads are constant, when performance must be predictable, or when there is a control requirement that shared clouds cannot meet.

#### E-commerce[cite: 2]

Withstands traffic spikes without queues or lost sales[cite: 2].

#### Service Providers[cite: 2]

White-label dedicated hardware to build your own platform on top[cite: 2].

#### Databases and ERPs[cite: 2]

Consistent performance for workloads that cannot tolerate fluctuations[cite: 2].

#### Disaster Recovery[cite: 2]

Independent infrastructure to boot the environment when the primary one fails[cite: 2].

#### Mission Critical[cite: 2]

Fault-tolerant environments for operations that cannot stop[cite: 2].

#### CMS and Media[cite: 2]

Projects with heavy content traffic and large files[cite: 2].

#### Data Analytics and Big Data[cite: 2]

Computing and storage that scale together[cite: 2].

#### Hybrid Environments[cite: 2]

Combining it with public cloud when a single approach falls short[cite: 2].

## Certified and Audited Infrastructure

Data lives in our proprietary data centers within the European Union and under its regulations; compliance is proven, not promised.

## Tell us about your current setup

We will review your existing environment with you, advise on what makes sense to move, and provide a proposal with a fixed monthly cost for the entire project.

FAQ

## Frequently asked questions

**Private Cloud** Frequently Asked Questions

### Can I build infrastructure for my clients under my own brand?

Yes. Dedicated hardware is delivered as a white-label solution, so your client sees your brand, and we do not appear in the commercial relationship. You choose the virtualization and management layers, and we provide the hardware, networking, storage, and Tier 2 technical support.

### What exactly is a private cloud?

A cloud environment where computing resources are exclusively dedicated to a single organization. It is similar to having your own data center, but leveraging cloud benefits without buying, maintaining, or refreshing hardware.

### How does it differ from a traditional dedicated server?

A dedicated server is just a single machine. A private cloud is a complete platform built on dedicated machines, featuring centralized storage, redundant networking, high availability across data centers, and the ability to spin virtual machines up and down on top of it. You get the isolation of dedicated hardware combined with the flexibility of virtualization.

### Can I use Proxmox instead of VMware?

Yes, and it is the option that best fits our infrastructure, mainly because licensing costs are much lower. VMware is still available, with its licensing billed separately. We work with open standards precisely so your choice does not lock you in.

### What is the difference between public and private cloud?

In a public cloud, you share an infrastructure divided among multiple clients, you pay-as-you-go, and you deploy in minutes. In a private cloud, the resources are exclusively yours, and the cost is a fixed monthly fee. Public cloud suits workloads that spike and drop; private cloud suits constant, demanding workloads and projects requiring control over the virtualization layer.

### What does synchronous replication mean?

It means data is written simultaneously in both data centers, so if one goes down, no information is lost and there is a zero data-loss recovery window. This is the setup for workloads that cannot afford to stop, made possible because our two Madrid regions are linked by our proprietary fiber ring with sub-millisecond latency.

### Where is the data hosted?

In Aire’s proprietary data centers, within the European Union, and subject to its data protection regulations. You choose the location upon contracting, and the data never leaves.

### What is the support like?

24/7/365, in Spanish and over the phone, speaking with someone who understands your infrastructure. It is not a ticketing system or a community forum.

### What happens if I need more resources in six months?

Nodes are added to your infrastructure without redesigning what you already have. We maintain a pool of spare nodes at no extra cost precisely so that scaling up does not depend on hardware purchasing lead times.

### Can I migrate from my current setup?

Yes, from VMware environments, on-premises hardware, public cloud, or Proxmox. The process includes a preliminary evaluation, source and destination preparation, and testing prior to the final cutover, which can be repeated as many times as necessary.

### Do I have to purchase managed services?

No. You can administer the entire platform yourself. If you prefer to delegate operations, our team can handle it in a delegated or shared model, but always as an option and never as a requirement.
